Stamp9G20 and robustness to shock.

Hello!

In the technical reference for the Stamp9G20 CPU module, the maximal operational shock value is declared at 3g level.

What is the factors which prevent normal operation of Stamp9G20 with shock value until 4g?

4g is a maximal operational value for our future earth quake accelerograph devices based on the Stamp9g20.

Is it possible for the Taskit to make a retesting of Stamp9G20 operation until 4g value or produce a custom version of PCB with extended shock range?

The critical part of the Stamp9G20 is the connector. The given value in the data sheet is a very conservative one. The StampG20 can be further secured to the base board by screws or similar measures, which would raise the robustness significantly.
As I would regard the connector as the weak part, further testing makes only sense together with the specific target board.
