stamp9g20 and JamVM

I have a stamp9g20 and would like to get with some java development on it. Does the Jazelle technology of the CPU just work for free? Is there anything special I need to do to enable this? Are most people using Cacao or JamVM on the stamp? Thanks in advance.

Re: stamp9g20 and JamVM

Jazelle cannot be used for free, their are license fees attached to this technology, so no open source jvm has implemented it. AFAIK, even the Sun JVM does not support it.

I have no numbers on the usage of Cacao vs JamVM, but JamVM is pre-installed on the Stamp9G20 root filesystem so I would think, that it is used more often than Cacao.
